The vision is for Kelford Cams to be known as one of the best in the camshaft industry, to be recognised worldwide for manufacturing high quality, high performance camshafts for the motorsport industry. We are a small company that, since 1968 has specialised in custom camshafts to suit the individual requirements of each racer. We have a vast knowledge of engine combinations for all types of motor sport and we know how to match camshafts to engine and vehicle requirements. All of our cams are manufactured in-house using ultra-modern design systems and ground using masterless CNC grinders with CBN cutting wheel technology for superior quality and consistency.

 

Camshaft Profiles:

207-A:

  • 268¬∞/274¬∞, 8.10mm/8.00mm Valve Lift
  • Performance cams for near stock Toyota 1UZ-FE engines. Good upgrade for street cars, tow vehicles or jet boats to improve low to mid-range power.
  • Designed to drop-in on OEM valve springs.
  • Maintains good drivability.
  • For high mileage engines Kelford Cams recommend KVS1UZ valve spring. 

207-C:

  • 264¬∞/264¬∞, 9.35mm/9.35mm Valve Lift
  • 264¬∞ performance cams for mildly modified Toyota 1UZ-FE engines with basic intake and exhaust upgrades.
  • Good upgrade for street cars to improve mid-range power. Still maintains good drivability.
  • Kelford Cams recommend KVS1UZ valve spring. 

207-D:

  • 272¬∞/272¬∞, 9.60mm/9.60mm Valve Lift
  • 274¬∞ NA performance cams for modified Toyota 1UZ-FE racing engines with intake and exhaust upgrades. Improved mid-range to high rpm power.
  • Kelford Cams recommend KVS1UZ valve spring. 

207-E:

  • 286¬∞/286¬∞, 9.65mm/9.65mm Valve Lift
  • 286¬∞ NA cams for well modified Toyota 1UZ-FE racing engines.
  • Suits engines with higher compression, ported heads, free flowing intake such as individual throttles and well designed exhaust system.
  • Designed for high rpm power in track cars.
  • Kelford Cams recommend KVS1UZ valve spring. 

207-F:

  • 298¬∞/298¬∞, 10.35mm/9.30mm Valve Lift
  • 298¬∞ NZ superstock stage 1 racing cams to suit engines with OEM cam buckets.
  • Designed to suit engines built to Speedway NZ rules, 10:1 compression ratio.
  • Kelford Cams recommend KVS1UZ valve spring. 

207-G:

  • 294¬∞/294¬∞, 10.70mm/10.35mm Valve Lift
  • 294¬∞ NZ superstock stage 2 racing cams to suit fully modified racing engines with 430+HP.
  • Must use shimless cam buckets or shim under conversion.
  • Designed to suit engines built to Speedway NZ rules, 10:1 compression ratio.
  • Kelford Cams recommend KVS207 valve spring. 

207-SC:

  • 260¬∞/268¬∞,  9.55mm/9.50mm Valve Lift
  • 260¬∞/268¬∞ cams for supercharged Toyota 1UZ-FE engines.
  • Still maintains good drivability and throttle response for street cars. Improved mid-range power over OEM cams.
  • Great with E85 and similar ethanol blend fuels.
  • Kelford Cams recommend KVS1UZ valve spring.  

207-T1:

  • 264¬∞/264¬∞, 9.35mm/9.35mm Valve Lift
  • 264¬∞ cams for mild turbocharged Toyota 1UZ-FE engines.
  • Still maintains good drivability and throttle response for street cars. Suits single 58-64mm turbo or twin 48-54mm turbos.
  • Improved mid-range power over OEM cams. Great with E85 and similar ethanol blend fuels.
  • Kelford Cams recommend KVS1UZ valve spring. 

207-T2:

  • 270¬∞/280¬∞, 9.90mm/9.60mm Valve Lift
  • 270¬∞/280¬∞ cams for turbocharged Toyota 1UZ-FE racing engines running big boost and high RPM.
  • Designed for engines making an excess of 800hp. Single turbo sizing 64mm+. Twin turbo sizing 54-58mm.
  • Still suits OEM shim on top of bucket. Great with E85.
  • Kelford Cams recommend KVS207 valve spring kit.
